Food as Healing
What are living and raw foods?
Enzymes are protein catalysts and are involved in every chemical reaction in the body. They are charged with energy and are extremely important. We inherit a certain number of enzymes when born, and the lifestyle we lead will determine how many or little we have in a lifetime. Inherited enzymes can be lost or replenished over time due to what foods we ingest. The digestive tract is just one area of the body that is host to millions of digestive enzymes including the ones we are born with. Therapeutic enzymes, which are the ones found in food such as sprouted seeds, yogurt, papaya, pineapple, fermented foods, etc. are the foods we want to eat in abundance, depending on our body’s response and ability to process them without causing an allergic reaction (i.e. dairy or some fermented foods).
However, all living and raw foods contain enzymes at the highest level, which is one of the greatest benefits in living this lifestyle/or simply incorporating more living and raw foods into the daily food lifestyle. Eating living and raw foods re-ups the body's level of enzymes, never depleting them; always giving back to the life force. As this happens, the body inherently begins to cleanse and heal itself on a deeper level than it would on any other type of food lifestyle diet. This cleansing and healing can reach a very high level, and is not to be confused with emotional trauma and baggage some still must release. Of course, eating an abundance of living and raw foods may allow one to be in a more desirable position to begin their healing work. There are many people that live a raw lifestyle that are still spiritually lost, and they do not know why as they believe "eating raw" will take care of all their challenges.
Living foods are foods in their natural state that are then utilized in a way that makes the level of enzymes even higher, therefore increasing the level of vital nutrients in that food as well. One of the major reasons soaking nuts and seeds is so important is because of the enzyme inhibitors they contain, which protects them until they have what they need to grow. Amazingly, toxic substances and the enzyme inhibitors can be removed by nature's permission when satisfactory conditions such as sun and rain are met. Examples include soaking and sprouting nuts such as almonds and Brazil nuts (some nuts do not visibly sprout) or soaking seeds such as sunflower or sesame and making them sprout. All of this is done before eating the nuts or seeds, or using them in a recipe. Soaking and sprouting raw foods to make them living foods also allows for easier digestion and assimilation in general and for the digestion and assimilation of phytic acid and gluten.
Research shows that over time, the Standard American Diet (SAD) decreases enzymes. Cooked food is believed to be denatured and has little to no enzymes when heat is applied above 115-118° F. Food boiled at or above 212° F has no enzymatic activity. If you chose to eat living and raw foods for one week and a SAD diet for one week it would be apparent which is superior.
It is believed that certain cooked foods are the main factor that leads to aging, dis-ease, lowered immunity, reproductive challenges, allergies, excessive mucous, skin issues, digestive issues, emotional instabilities, fatigue, toxicity, cancer, cooked food dependency, a general dampening of the spirit, and more. Moreover, when little to no enzymes are present, the body has to work harder to extract vital nutrients and minerals needed to have optimum health, which leads to the former and decreases the life force.
Living and raw foods are rich in enzymes, will reawaken the palate, uplift the life force, and has a strong potential to heal many illnesses, dis-eases and other symptoms. One of the greatest gifts you will hear people say they receive while eating living and raw is the constant feeling of bliss, a closer connection to the Universal Source - God, others and Self, a more positive and optimistic attitude, increased motivation, and an unstoppable sense of self power.
There is much information available from various sources that believe living and raw foods are a superior way of eating and others that do not believe this. I believe it is the most superior way of ingesting food as healing and to keep the vibration high. I do not believe, nor do I teach that it is the only way to eat optimally and to keep the vibration high. There are plenty of cultures that do not lead a living and raw foods lifestyle and the quality of their life and their vibration is extremely high.
The question is, if you are not leading a living and raw foods lifestyle, then what are you eating to live optimally and feel your bliss if you do not already? Yes, we do have to eat fruits and vegetables. These should be the bulk of our diet. Without fruits and vegetables, our health will suffer. This is becoming more and more apparent each and every time we see someone suffering from a dis-ease or on a multitude of pharmaceuticals. If there are no fruits and vegetables in the diet, it leads a greater path to toxemia as well. Being victim to afternoon slumps, being dependent upon coffee, Red Bull, and other stimulants to get and keep one going points to a lowered vibration. This is also not a true vibration or energy level. Why take from one's life force? Why not add and consistently build the life force?
Water and Foods to Live Optimally and Feel Your Bliss
Water
You will feel the difference when you are drinking enough clean water and when you are not. The body feels more fluid and lubricated when we are drinking enough water and eating enough juicy foods. Every person is different in how much clean water they need. It is said we need ½ our weight in ounces of clean water per day. You may need more or less depending on how much water is already in the foods you eat.
For example, if I am eating several large servings of juicy fruits a day, I will not need as much water nor will my body tell me I need it. Upon waking in the morning it is recommended we drink 1 quart of clean water with the juice of ½ a lemon to replenish what was lost during regeneration and healing while sleeping.
If fresh coconut water is available it is superior to regular water and can be used in place of water in most situations.
Fruits and Vegetables
Most fruits have a high content of water, which further assists the body in releasing toxins. Fruits and vegetables are one of the best natural elixirs of life. Fruits contain natural fructose, which is always better than any other processed food that contains regular or man made sugar. Fruit tastes good, can satisfy a taste craving such as sweet or sour; is moistening, and can literally be an aphrodisiac to eat. It deters sugar cravings, has an abundance of fiber and is fun to eat. It is lovely to use in smoothies and in dressings, among other things. Fruits are best not cooked. They are best eaten away from other foods such as meats, dairy, and carbohydrates, which will can lead to putrification and excessive gas in the intestinal tract.
Vegetables are a wonderful addition to any dish, be it meat or as the major ingredient in a salad that includes some fruit. Vegetables as does fruit can help one lose weight easily when eaten in abundance and as one’s main food source. Greens have an abundance of vitamins, minerals, and especially the B vitamins. Due to the water and fiber content in them, they help remove toxins as well, and give us a feeling of satiety without feeling bloated or overly satiated.
Fruits and vegetables heal the body, cleanses the blood, gives us energy, repairs our DNA, builds our immune system, increases our ability to handle stressors, are antioxidants/contain phytochemicals that decrease free radical damage, and improve circulation and decrease inflammation. Fruits and vegetables slow the aging process, lower blood pressure, and increases energy. Fruits and vegetables of color have even more vital nutrients, and anthocyanins, which protect the heart. This is just a few benefits of fruits and vegetables.
The Sun
We need the sun to survive. The sun energizes us and gives us vitality. Without the sun we would die, and so would every other living thing on Earth such as the animals, plants, trees, and most ocean life. If we believe and know that the Sun is a star that is intelligent, has intelligent life that lives upon it, and feeds all life forms in the universe then we would know that we are all inherently connected to one another. We are all connected from the ancestral spirits still alive on this planet, to being connected to other life forms not from Earth.
What is key to understand in connecting the importance of eating an abundance of fruits and vegetables is when we eat them, we are ingesting live energy from the Sun in its most natural form, which makes it the most powerful and life sustaining source of energy food we could ever eat. If the sun feeds all life forms then we would also be downloading a pure, light-filled genetic memory from our ancestors and God in the form of the fruits and vegetables. How could it not be so, as God is the one that created everything? This is one of the reasons why people feel so absolutely blissful leading a living and raw foods lifestyle.
We also need to spend time in the sun for the synthesis of Vitamin D; this is especially important for black people as research has been showing an increase in the number of black people that are suffering with autoimmune disorders such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia, among others.
Our Sun is nothing to be afraid of.
