 Welcome!

Happy 2008!  May you be blessed with prosperity in every area you desire and your faith and hope in Self, others, and this universe be fully restored.  You are light and light is love.

Every being deserves to feel an abundance of joy and to lead a healthy life without life altering symptoms, illnesses, dis-eases, or frequent emotional upsets.   Our bodies are magnificent and a wonder to behold, and this is no less true than when the mind, body, and the spirit are being addressed together to heal a particular symptom, illness,  dis-ease, or emotional challenge.  When this occurs, there are no limits to self healing, only self limitations.

There is no better time than right now to revisit or begin your journey home to your True Self.  Yesterday is over, tomorrow is not promised, and today is all that matters.

The summer equinox has arrived!  It is a most powerful time of expansiveness, expression, warmth, transformation and blooming.  This is when potentials are realized, life is matured, and activities are at their peak.  Summer reveals our capacity to feel warmth and connected to all things.  It is a season of harvesting our "bounty" for our emotional, physical, and spiritual state.  Summer manifests contentment, security, abundance, groundedness/centeredness.  Being present in the heart allows us to be true.

This is a great time to participate in some form of detox and make plans for the upcoming cool months.  Eat melons!  Melons are cooling , hydrating and detoxicants.  Let us remember to take time out to engage in some form of movement several times a week.

What I Do

The type of healing that is the most personally rewarding and fulfilling is self healing.  I am able to partner with you for the duration of your healing journey.  Love, communication, kindness and an open mind are a few of the qualities I bring to my clients, and others I teach.  I love what I do, because my clients continuously challenge me and give me further belief in the beauty of the human spirit and myself.

Holistic practitioners call themselves many names and are able to assist humans with a myriad of spiritual, emotional, and physical challenges.  I consider myself a traditional healer (see my Bio page), a wellness counselor, a holistic practitioner, a clinical herbalist, and a raw foodist, among other things.  My training is in mainly western herbs.  I am a Maryland native, born in the city of Baltimore.  Below is a list of just (see my Services page) a few of the areas I can assist you with:

  • Wellness/herbal consultations and educational gatherings (including nutrition)/demonstrations
  • General consulting services in wellness
  • Herbal formulas and supplements specifically geared toward your constitution, if recommended
  • Living and raw foods lifestyle consultations and educational gatherings/demonstrations
  • In-home healthy food assessments
  • Accompaniment to your local grocery store or farmer's market

Frankincense
Frankincense is one of my most favorite plants for its spiritual and scientific capabilities.  It is truly a gift from the heavens and anyone that is able to use the resin, bark, flower, or oil of this sacred plant is truly in good plant spirit company.  Click on the link below to view my plant monograph, which will give you simple to more complex information about the beautiful frankincense.

And a man said, "Speak to us of Self-Knowledge."  And he answered, saying:  Your hearts know in silence the secrets of the days and the nights.  But your ears thirst for the sound of your heart's knowledge.  You would know in words that which you have always known in thought.  You would touch with your fingers the naked body of your dreams.  And it is well you should.  The hidden well-spring of your soul must needs arise and run murmuring to the sea; And the treasure of your infinite depths would be revealed to your eyes.  But let there be no scales to weigh your unknown treasure; And seek not the depths of your knowledge with staff or sounding line.  For self is a sea boundless and measureless.  Say not, "I have found the truth," but rather, "I have found a truth."  Say not, "I have found the path of the soul."  Say rather, "I have met the soul walking upon my path."  For the soul walks upon all paths.  The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed.  The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals.
